I am so tired of dealing with people. Too many have no morals or personal integrity. I have tried for years to stay away from everyone. When I do some how get to know someone I can be assured they will turn into real assholes within a relatively short period of time.
Let me tell you some of my experiences.
When we were moving into our new home there were two cars and one moving van. One of the neighbors came over and bitched that we weren't allowed to have cars parked on the lawn. No kidding stupid. It was temporary but thanks for the welcome. Later another neighbor "reported" my 11 year old son for not sweeping the grass off the driveway after cutting the lawn. Yeah these are the problems people have. One other neighbor decided to complain that my son didn't go to church. Now it should be noted that my kids have never been in trouble with the law, bothered the neighbors or done anything remotely troublesome. Of course when people don't have real reasons to hate, they make them up.
A few weeks ago a neighbor died. We were close with him although his wife was a bit psychotic. He would come over when she was out and I would visit him as he became less mobile. His family had come over to me and asked me to let them know if I saw anything at the house. They had a good reason. The wife had remarried her ex husband two weeks prior to his death and not told the family about the man's passing until two months later. The new husband's family knew of this and was concerned she would not keep them informed. Twice there was an ambulance at the house. I called them when I saw this. The man died. There are questions about why. He had not been given his insulin, encouraged to drink or other basics. The wife claimed she did her best. Her best included getting a cat which the sick husband was allergic to. Her best included getting annoyed when he would shake the bed trying to get up. She would close the door.
I am not speaking without a reference. I have taken care of a dying mother (she passed 4 yrs ago) and my father for four years since his stroke. She couldn't take care of her husband for two months!! Of course she yelled at me about "spying" on her. No, I did what the family asked. They deserve to know if their father is taken off in an ambulance. As it stands they were not informed he was dying and were prevented from talking to him on Father's day. But I'm the psycho!! Yeah she gets all this sympathy and tells everyone I'm bad and they believe her. I want the neighbors to know they can stay the hell away from me. I never wanted to talk to them before so I don't need them now. Don't come running over when you need something. Fuck You!
Let's talk about the justice system. A few years ago my older son had an accident. A motorcycle hit the side of his car. Totaled the car by fracturing the firewall. Fortunately the driver lived. He was driving on a suspended license, had warrants for his arrest, etc. My son received a citation for violation of right of way. He went to the arraignment and told the judge what happened. The judge said he should take it to trial. He did. After the trail was postponed three times (the motorcycle driver was in jail) because of the county's inability to subpoena the correct deputy the judge sets the date right in the middle of college finals for my son. He wouldn't post pone it for him. Add to that he ended up handing done a fine triple the original amount and requiring traffic school. This is AFTER the motorcycle testified he had looked down at his instruments and when he looked up it was too late to react. Evidence was also presented that the car was in the median, not the lane of traffic and the cyclist was traveling over 60MPH at impact! Yeah judge, give the kid trying to do right the shaft and let the guy who is in constant trouble with the law off.
